Starlink CEO Elon Musk announces cuts in Starlink satellite internet service deposit prices
An e-mail sent today to the Starlink subscribers states that the deposit prices of the service will be cut. And it seems that the cut will be substantial. The price, which is 99 US dollars at the moment, will be cut down to only 9 dollars.
Starlink is planning to create a satellite network in the low-earth orbit, which will consist of 12 thousand communication satellites. The operation will be held by SpaceX, which is also a company of Elon Musk. Most of the countries will receive this price cut immediately.
At the moment, the coverage for Starlink internet-from-space service is available for countries like USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, New Zealand, Chile, Sweden, Switzerland and Italy and so on.
